Day 1: Mendoza
Arriving from Buenos Aires, a transfer from the
airport to chosen hotel in Mendoza. The afternoon
& evening free, accommodation at chosen hotel
includes breakfast and compulsory taxes.
Day
2: Mendoza
After hotel breakfast, the wine route starts.
A tour around vineyards, visiting two reputable
wineries, where expert enologists explain all
the stages in the production process of different
types of wine, and there will be wine testing
as well.
Day
3: Mendoza
After hotel breakfast, the time for the High
Mountain Tour. The tour leaves Mendoza city
in the morning and goes in the direction of
the frontier between Argentina and Chile. During
the tour we will go across the River Mendoza,
go through some pre-mountain villages like Uspallata,
Potrerillos, Picheuta and Puente del Inca, before
we reach the mountain range area. There will
be a stop, from where we will view the beautiful
and highest mountain on the American continent,
Mount Aconcagua, with hight of 6.959m above
the sea level. Then the tour continues to Las
Cuevas, where it is possible to go up to the
Statue of the Christ Redeemer at 4.200m above
the sea level, which also marks the limit with
Chile.
Day
4: Mendoza / Buenos Aires
Hotel breakfast and transfer to the airport,
to take the flight to Buenos Aires or to Patagonia.
