Anavilhanas Jungle
Lodge is located in the municipal
of Novo Arião, approx 200km from Manaus City
(by land). The hotel is situated on the right river
bank of Rio Negro, in front of the fabulous Archipelago
Anavilhanas, the biggest floating archipelago in the
world. The region provides an untouched and very rich
fauna & flora. The hotel is considered as a charming
SUPERIOR hotel and was inaugurated in 2007. To reach
the lodge one cross first the River Rio Negro by boat,
from the port in Manaus City to the port on the opposite
side of the river (30min one way by boat). Then a
land transport along the road AM-352 to the municipal
of Novo Ariao. The total time of transfer (one way)
takes approx. 3-hours. Upon request (not included
in the normal program) it is possible to reach the
lodge by air, it takes approx 30min, or by boat (100km)
7-hours to go and 6-hours to return.

added: The Anavilhanas Lodge is the first
jungle lodge of charm, in the region of Manaus, constructed
in the harmony of the nature and local conditions.
The lodge supports ecologically & politically
correct facilities and policies, by using for instance;
solar energy, recycling program, closed sewer system,
and training program for the regional labor force.
The hotel’s common areas and bungalows are constructed
on suspended wood stilts that not only create a charming
rustic atmosphere, but also avoid conflicts with the
areas fauna & flora.

The lodge provides programs with complete experiences
of the Amazon Rainforest and comprehends also a swimming
pool with a privileged view of the surrounding landscape,
a belvedere for enhanced sightseeing, and a restaurant
with the best blend of Amazonian flavors and international
cuisine, which can be savored while indulging you
to an enticing cockatiel of exotic fruits in the bar.
Accommodations:
There are 8 charming bungalows (2 accommodations in
each), offer a unique combination of wildlife’s
delightful simplicity and paramount comfort. The accommodations
are adorned with artworks of exquisite regional seamanship
and equipped with air conditioning, box spring mattress
beds, private bathroom with hot & cold water shower,
mini-fridge, and an enchanting private veranda with
hammock. Each bungalow can accommodate max 3 guests.
The accommodations can be provided with one queen
sized bed (1,60 x 2,0) or two twin beds (0,8 x 2,0),
and when there are 3 guests an extra bed of 0,8 x
2,0m. |
