POUSADA AMAZONIA
JUNGLE LODGE

The
Jungle Lodge Pousada Amazônia is considered
as a “COMFORT”
hotel, unless the room standard that might be simpler
for this category of comfort hotels, but maintain
an average level among the regions jungle lodges.
The lodge is situated on the left side of the river
bank of the River Rio Ariau about 50 km from Manaus
City (as the crow flies). To reach the lodge one cross
first the River Rio Negro by boat, from the port Sao
Raimundo in Manaus to the port of Povoado de Cacau
Pirera (30min one way). Then land transport on the
road AM-070 to the municipal of Iranduba. The total
time of transfer (one way) takes approx. 1h30.
In the common areas of the lodge provides
with a bar / restaurant (where all
meals are served, breakfast, lunch & dinner),
TV/Video room that receives satellite channels,
front desk with telephone, games room with; snooker
table, table tennis, karaoke, play cards, gym, sports
ground for football & volleyball, and a swimming
pool. Further there is an infrastructure for events,
an acclimatized meeting room for max 100 guests.
The hotel has generator to produce electric power.
There are a total of 31 accommodations,
divided in four categories: 21
“triple” suites (with 3 single beds
or one double bed & one single bed), 08
“quadruple” suites (with one double
bed & one bunk bed), 01 suite
for 5 guests, and 01 suite with
one double bed for two. All guest rooms have private
bathrooms and are equipped with air conditioning,
ceiling fan and shower with heated water.
