First day - Pick up at your hotel in Manaus, approx at 09:00 am. Then we start the jungle adventure going by boat to the other side of the River Rio Negro (take approx 30min), from there by car into the rain forest (travel approx 1,5 hour), finally the last part of the transfer is done in a boat again (5min.) as the lodge is situated on an island, at the edge of River Ariau. We are supposed to arrive the Pousada Amazônia approx 11:15 am. After Check-in and welcome drink, we’ll go out to observe the fauna and flora of the area in a small boat tour, return for lunch. After lunch, we’ll go through the igarapés, igapós (flooded rain forest areas) to know the exuberant and big floating plant Victoria Regina and try the luck of fishing piranha. Later we will enjoy the beautiful sunset at the lodge and have dinner. At night we will experience a tour in small boats, looking for and try to catch some caimans with flashlight, along the riverbank.

Second day – Early tour at 05:30 am we will enjoy the sunrise, the jungle wake up, observe birds and wild life, return for breakfast. After breakfast we’ll walk in the jungle, observe medicine plants, fauna & flora. Lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon we’ll go by boat though the igarapes & igapos, among other things visit a house of a caboclo (native people), return for dinner at the lodge

Third day – After breakfast, we’ll make a tour in a small boat through surrounding lakes, practice bird observation, return for lunch. In the afternoon we will fish in the Lake of Lago Grande, like the Indians by Bow & Arrow, return for dinner at the lodge.

Fourth day – After breakfast, we’ll have a small adventure tour and practice some basics of survival in the Amazon Jungle. Return for lunch at the lodge and then start the return to Manaus.

This Package includes transfer in & out, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and bilingual tour guide & excursions/ activities that are mentioned in the program above. NOTE: The program “can” be changed according to local conditions, like inappropriate weather, etc.
