The “Pousadas” (guest houses) at Costa do Sauipe were inaugurated in 2000, and are considered as cheaper “tourist” (3-star) category, comparing to the resorts in Costa do Sauipe. They (six) are all situated in the complex’s village about 75km North of Salvador da Bahia. The village is named “Vila Nova da Praia” and has a culture center, a small church, commercial center with several small stores, bank, bars and restaurants. Each guest house has its decoration and inspiration of different themes from the state of Bahia. There are characteristic motives and ornaments taken from the Brazilian Culture. All guest houses have a private area of leisure, like swimming pool. Besides that, the guest can access other attractions within the complex: 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, equestrian sport-center, restaurants, etc.

POUSADA PELOURINHO:

Has small verandas / balconies and roof designed in the style of Pelourinho Square, in the old historic center in Salvador. There are 38 guest rooms, whereof 8 are ideal for families with children, equipped with living room, sofa bed for couple, two more single beds, and mini kitchen equipped with refrigerator and microwave own.

POUSADA GABRIELA:

POUSADA DA TORRE:

Inspired by the Castle Garcia D’ Ávila in Praia do Forte, the first castle in Brazil. The pousada hás details of Stones. There are 30 guest rooms, whereof 2 suites with living room bed sofa for couples and two single beds.

POUSADA CARNAVAL:

The name already tells us, its architecture brings all happiness and colors from Brazil biggest folkloric event, the Carnival. There are 39 guest rooms, whereof 11are suites for families with living room bed sofa for couples and two single beds.

POUSADA AGRESTE:

This guest house bring together all beauties and traditions from the Northeast of Brazil, decorated of ornaments from the northeast. There are 20 guest rooms, whereof two of them are projected to receive physical disabled guests.

POUSADA DA ALDEIA:

This pousada is situated in the middle of coconut trees and is the guest house that’s nearest to the beach. It has a differenced infrastructure in comparison to the others, with more privacy. There are 20 guest rooms, decorated in a colonial style and its architecture is typical from a fishermen village form the century of XVI.
