Pousada Abare is located in Itacare, only 250m from the beach Praia da Concha and 500m from the beach Praia do Resende, and near the village center as well. It was inaugurated in 2003 and is considered as a simple but nice small hotel. The name of the hotels means friend in the "Tupi-Guarani" Indian language. The place provides basic comfort with breakfast restaurant and swimming pool. There are only 14 ample guest rooms; all with private verandah, hammock, parabolic TV, mini-bar, air conditioning and ceiling fan, the shower box has solar heated water.
