There are three ways of going to Morro de São Paulo from Salvador City, by air, by boat or by buss & boat. The fastest option is of course by air, which takes 25minutes from Salvador International Airport. There are normally 3 departures daily in both directions (Departures (+/-) 08:00 / 12:30 / 15:30 - Consult..!). Another good option is by boat/catamaran, which takes about 2 hours. Depature about 09:00 from the port in Salvador and about 11:30 from Morro de Sao Paulo (OBS: Consult for more exact time table. NOTE: The time table has always variasion. The last option and least convenient is to go by ferry boat from Salvador Port to Itaparica Island and then by buss to Valença and then another transport by boat to the island. This option takes about 4 hours. Note: In the options by boat, you need to consider the time of transfer/transport from a hotel or the airport in Salvador to the port as well.
