do Forte is an old fishing village, located about
60km north of Salvador’s airport. Here you find some
of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, and some
people call the region for the “Brazilian Polynesia”.
The most beautiful beach may be in front of the Eco
Resort. In the village there are several options of
accommodation of varying quality. There are also several
options of bar, restaurants, sales of handicrafts,
and good night life. At the cape of Praia do Forte
is the church located, and just beside there is the
famous turtle project “Tamar”. There you can visit
the marine museum of turtles. You can also make day
