Category/Location: The Cana Brava Resort is beautiful located in a green area of 170 thousand square meters, on the beach in the municipal of Ilheus, Bahia. Within the hotel complex there is a stream that runs besides the swimming pool and forms a small cascade with black radioactive water, which is excellent for articulation problems, the body skin and the hair. According to the local habitants, the frequent baths in this water was the secret of Gabriela’s beauty (from Jorge Amado). The hotel was inaugurated in 1990 and is today considered as a SUPERIOR category hotel.

Service/Leisure: The hotel offers many activities of leisure with specialized monitors for adults & children, further there are: swimming pools (for adults & children), tennis courts, grass soccer field, Kid’s house, game room, playground, mini zoo, submarine, water toboggan and shows that assure the fun for all family. The resort also provides health center with sauna, hairdresser, massage, fitness center and a modern convention center with an auditory for 600 people. The hotel serves breakfast and thematic dinners in the restaurant, and in the bar you can order snacks and tropical drinks that also can be served on the beach.

Accommodations: Cana Brava Resort has 172 accommodations divided in three categories; Standard guest rooms, Standard Chalets & Deluxe Chalets. All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, TV, telephone, safety box, and verandah with hammock. The Deluxe chalets are the best situated, near to the swimming pool area and the beach, and can accommodate max 3 adults or a family with 2 or 3 children (depending the age of the children). The building with the guest rooms are more distant situated from the pool area, and can max 3 adults or a family with 2 or 3 children (depending the age of the children). The Standard Chalets are situated in between the guest rooms and deluxe chalets; it’s the smallest accommodation, which can accommodate max 2 adults & 1 child of max 5 years.
