Praia do Forte is the first Eco Resort in Brazil located in an amazing tropical area on the east coast of Bahia, 55km north of Salvador. The Resort is surrounded of 250.000 square meters of pure nature in harmony with an old charming fishermen's village and there is about 12km of untouched sand beaches with some corals and many beautiful palm trees. The visitors are mainly couples and families where many of them are foreigners, perfect place for honeymoon vacation.

At the romantic resort you may enjoy the spa, 4 swimming pools, 2 restaurants, one snack bar, 3 bars, 4 illuminated tennis courts, TV & reading room, amphitheater, nautic sport center, soccer field, business center, meeting and convention room for 200 people. The menus are generous varied and excellent in all restaurants. There is a special space for children with monitors and baby-sitters. The supply of activities and eco tourism is great: why not rowing a boat in the Timeantube River, do bird-watching, visit a fishermen’s village, horse riding, tours to ecological reserves accompanying by biologists, tour to the ruin of Garcia D’Ávila Castle, Fishing in the Ocean, diving , snorkeling in natural swimming pools, visit the birth place of turtles where you can visit the research institute and learn more about the marine life (Tamar project), and many other things.

There are 200 guest rooms at Praia do Forte Eco Resort, divided in five categories: Standard, Standard Plus, Master, Master Plus & Suites: All accommodations are equipped with: air conditioning, telephone with internet plug, mini-bar, safety box, cable TV, hair dryer, and verandah with hammock turned to the sea (note: the hotel can not guarantee sea view in any category, but most rooms have view of the sea through the vegetation.

STANDARD ROOMS: Are situated at least 200m from the hotel’s area of pools, bars & restaurants. They have a living area of 38 m² and located on the ground floor. Accommodate max 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.

STANDARD PLUS ROOMS: Rooms with cozier decoration and more spacious bathroom, and more distant situated from the hotel’s area of pools, bars & restaurants, in a more reserved and tranquil area perfect for couples without children (annex 7, 8 &9). They have a living area of 38 m² and located either on the ground floor or the first floor. Accommodate max 2 adults – do not accept extra beds.

MASTER: Are situated closer to the hotel’s area of pools, bars & restaurants. They have a living area of 44 m² and located either on the ground floor or the first floor. Accommodate max 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.

MASTER PLUS: Are situated closer to the hotel’s area of pools, bars & restaurants, but more in a more reserved and tranquil area, near the hotel’s SPA. They have a living area of 55 m² and located either on the ground floor or the first floor. Accommodate max 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.

NOTE: 50% of Standard & Master rooms have TWIN beds & 50% beds for couples.

SUITES: Have a privileged location, situated only on the superior floor, and are ample (76 m²) and have a bedroom with king sized bed, living room and a verandah with Jacuzzi in open-air. Accommodate max 2 adults – do not accept extra beds.
