Category/Location: The Catussaba Hotel is considered as a SUPERIOR hotel beautifully located in front of Itapuã beach one of the best and most beautiful beaches in Salvador. It was inaugurated in 1995 and is the only hotel in Salvador that is situated on the beach. Due to its location, the hotel provides an easy access to Salvador’s International Airport and it is about 30km from Salvador’s Historical downtown.

Accommodations: The hotel has 256 accommodations divided in seven different categories: Standard (garden view), Superior (garden view), Master (pool view), Oceanic (ocean view) and Executive, Master and President Suites. All accommodations have a private balcony with hammock, central air conditioning, mini-bar, cable TV, telephone, safety box and room service. The differences are, besides the room’s view, the size of the room and type/size of beds. The standard and master rooms have 1 queen bed (1,60 x 2,0m) or 2 twin beds (1,0 x 2,0m). The superior rooms have only two queen beds (1,40 x 2,0m) and the Oceanic Rooms have only one queen bed (1,60 x 2,0m). The hotel don’t have rooms with tree beds, but can for extra charge put an extra bed into the Standard and the Master rooms. The Superior rooms have only two beds and can accommodate a couple with two children on the condition that the children share one bed and the couple the other bed.
