1.Day:
Cuiaba/Pantanal
Reception and assistance upon your arrival at Cuiaba
Airport. Transfer to the Pousada Baguari, passing
through the small village Mimoso, where Candido Rondon
was born. Arrival at the Pousada at dinnertime. After
dinner the localities of the Pousada as well as the
program for the next days will be presented.
2º Day: Pantanal / - Visit the typical
farm and strolls of boat.
After breakfast, tour car exit, during the passage
we will make safari land ties to arrive to the farm,
situated in a beautiful place with options of walking,
visits to the corrals and orchards of the farm. We
could take lunch or return for Inn depending on the
time. For return of 16h we will leave for a stroll
of boat for appreciation of the sunset in the gorgeous
bay of Siá Mariana, including the piranhas
fishing and in the return we will observed crocodiles
and others night-active animals by means of searchlight,
return for Inn. Before the dinner a delicious broth
of piranha, typical in the region, will be served.
Dinner and spend the night.
3.
Day: Pantanal –
Visit of the biggest colony of breeding birds of the
whole Pantanal.
The visit will be made by motorboat and will take
about 5 hours. This colony is considered an almost
“sacred” place inhabited from April to
October by a great number of species of birds, like
herons, storks, cormorants or spoonbills, which construct
thousands of nests at this place at the banks of a
river. Fishing of piranhas is also possible here.
Lunch at the Pousada. In the late afternoon boat-tour
to the beautiful river Mutum awaiting sunset there
and watching herons and other birds aiming at there
sleeping trees. After dark observation of crocodiles
and other night-active animals by means of searchlight.
Dinner and overnight stay.
4.Day: Pantanal.
After breakfast fishing by boat or boat trip to the
small community of native fishermen at Cuiaba Mirim
at the Cuiaba River. The afternoon is free. Dinner and
overnight rest.
5.Day:
Pantanal / Cuiaba.
After breakfast return to Cuiaba Airport and departure.
