The Pousada Arara Azul (Blue Macaw Guest House) is located in the heartland of the Pantanal, about 340km from Campo Grande, in an area known as "Pantanal of Nhecolância", between two lagoons and in perfect harmony with nature. The Lodge is fully equipped to offer all necessary comfort during your stay, restaurant serving local food, TV room, games room, meeting room, and swimming pool. There is a small airfield near the guest house as well.  There are 20 rooms, simple decorated, with space for maximum 4 guests in each, all equipped with air conditioning.

The Pousada Arara Azul, has a partnership with WWF (Word Wide Fund for Nature) It is the reference farm of the researcher & biologist Ms. Neiva Guedes., where she observes the region’s nests of Blue Macaws. 

It is a pleasant place where you can make horse-rides on the plateau’s the lagoons and creeks, trekking with local guides, photographic safaris by tractors, passing through places where common vehicles would never run and alligator spotting after the darkness. All the trips and walks are included in the daily-rate. Note: There are also some extra programs such as trips by boats by the Rivers Paraguay and Miranda, not included, but can be scheduled.
