Pousada Xaraés is located about 340km from Campo Grande, in the region of Abobral, at the edge of the river Rio Abobral. The place is housed in a farm of neat cattle, in an area of 4.200 hectare and 1.500 animals. Cattle farms are very characteristic of the Pananal and are a part of the experience. Beside the nearness to locals and the life on a farm, the pousada (guest house) provides with 17 guest rooms with a capacity of 46 guests. There is a space for lectures, dining room, living room with TV & fireplace, games room (snooker), bar, kiosk for barbecues, mini-gym, dry sauna, swimming pool (ecological, with no usage of chemical products), pool for children, court for sports, soccer field, beach volley, and watching of rodeo. During your stay at this place, you will experience the life in a Pantanal farm, listen & observe birds, horseback riding, tour by boat, photo safari by 4x4 car, ecological trekking, alligator spotting and night watch of the wild life.

The guest rooms are distributed in three different building, but all are few meters from the river Rio Abobral. In each building there is a common verandah with several hammocks and fans, which is used as relaxing area. All guest rooms are rustic decorated and have private bathroom, air conditioning, mini refrigerator and telephone. There are 8 double room, 6 tipple rooms and 3 quadruple rooms.
