Brazil has
four official time
zones, generally depicted on maps as a neat
series of lines. Check the time zones on site: http://www.worldtimezone.com/time24.htm
In most parts of Brazil the time is 3 hours after Greenwich
Mean Time (GMT) (London). The Daylight Saving Time (DST)
ended on Sunday the 27th of February, 2000 - 00:00:00
local time. The DST will go into effect again on Sunday
the 1st of October, 2000 - 00:00:00 local time, the
clocks are to be moved forward one hour. To find out
present
time in any location of the world and also an

Quotation
by Peter Fleming, Brazilian Adventure:
"Delay in Brazil is a climate. You live in
it. You can't get away from it. There is noting to
be done about it… a man in a hurry will be miserable
in Brazil."
