Distance table - Brazil

Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world with a population more than 170 million inhabitants. There is almost no railway network in Brazil, but there is a well working network of long distance buses. The air traffic is working well as well, but with a high concentration to the “air-hubs” in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro & Brasilia. Looking to the map below, we can see that the whole Europe accommodates within Brazil, and then we may understand the size of this country, which is more like a continent than a country. If you consider the long distances, shown in the table below, and the road conditions (poor & bumpy roads), you should never travel by “land vehicle” (car/bus) more than 300km. Travels longer than 300km you should always go by air, as it is not only more convenient but most often a much better cost-benefit.
