GENERAL
& INSURANCE CONDITIONS: |
To
rent & drive a car in Brazil, you must be 21
years old or more, and must be a holder of a driving
license for at least 2 years. You must also be a
holder of an international driving license or your
national driving license (+ a translation into Portuguese)
together
with your passport (this if you will NOT
stay longer than tree months). If your stay in Brazil
will be longer than three months, you must carry
a driving license issued in Brazil or an international
license. It is also good to know that it is obligatory
to carry the documents of the car that you are driving
as well, to avoid penalties.
Note: The car's fuel tank is completed then you
receive the car, and it is recommendable to fill
up the tank before returning the vehicle, to avoid
extra costs.
