Pousada da Marquesa is located in the historical section of Paraty, at Mother Church Square, and is housed in a centuries old building where everything is authentic, preserved through the years. Even the furniture – with large four-posters, chests, sofas, and armchairs; many a rare pieces of historical value redolent of Brazil’s colonial style – an unique collection of antiques enhanced by the daylight flowing in from a large, typical courtyard and its inner garden.

At the Pousada you may enjoy the bar, breakfast lounge, TV and swimming pool, good to know that there is a parking lot as well. There are two categories of guest rooms; Luxo and Suite, all of them are equipped with telephone, TV, mini-bar and air conditioning. The suites are more spacious with two environments, can accommodate max 4 guests, and might be nicer decorated with a view of the garden. The "Luxo" rooms may have limited veiw, a kind of screen covering the windows. NOTE: You may request beds for singles or couple. The bed for couple's may reach "Queen Size".
