Category/Location: The South American Copacabana hotel is strategic located between Ipanema and Copacabana Beach, only three blocks to the Ipanema respectively Copacabana Beach (Ref. between "Posto" 5 & 6). It is considered as a SUPERIOR category hotel and was inaugurated in 1995. The hotel is ideal for tourists and executives due to its proximity to Rio de Janeiro’s city business center and major tourist attractions.

Service/Leisure: The hotel provides with an exclusive swimming pool and a bar for its guests at the top of the building, further there are a restaurant, lobby bar, internet café, sauna, fitness center, onsite parking, and a good infrastructure for meetings and events.

Accommodations: There are 99 guest rooms, divided in three categories; Deluxe, Suite Deluxe and Suite Executive. NOTE: Deluxe rooms have mainly TWIN beds (some double beds) meanwhile Deluxe Suites are more spacious and have only double beds (for couples) and a sofa-bed. No rooms have sea view.
