Day
1 - NATAL > PIPA.
After
breakfast the adventure starts taking the highway
RN-063, in the direction of the beautiful beach of
Praia de Camurupim, south of Natal. On the distance
Natal - Camurupim, you will first have a break at
the beach of Praia de Pirangi and visit the biggest
plantation of cashew trees in the world as well as
the market of handicrafts from the cashew tree. Later
you go on the Route of the Sun and stop at the "Dolphin
Outlook" in Barra de Tabatinga, admire the view, take
some photos and maybe drink coconut water. From this
point you continue to the beach of Praia de Camurupim,
where you have a walk to "Pedra Furada" (a small cave
in the reefs, that appears and possible to visit during
low tide). The place for lunch is at "Pontal Parque"
(an aquatic park at the edge of the sea, with several
fun aquatic toys). There are also some natural swimming
pools. The last stop this day will be at the lake
of "Lagoa de Arituba", where you can take a swim in
sweet water, kayaking, and try the famous "aero-bunda",
to across the lake sitting in a swing that runs in
a steel wire from one side to the other - emotional.
In the very afternoon you leave Lagoa de Arituba for
Praia do Pipa and chosen accommodation.
Day
2 - Beaches in Pipa.
This
day you will enjoy the beaches in Pipa & Tibau do
Sol - Beaches of Cacimbinhas, Ponta do Madeiro, Enseada
dos Golfinhos, Praia do Pipa and Amor. Rocks, coconut
trees and beautiful sand beaches - some untouched
with shallow and warm water - where you can do walking
and horse riding in good atmosphere. Accommodation
in the Pipa Village.
Day
3 - Pipa > João Pessoa. (120km)
After
breakfast, you leave Pipa for the state capital of
Paraiba, João Pessoa City. There you will make a city
tour, which is Brazil's 3:rd oldest town. Among other
things, you will visit a conjunction of buildings
in Baroque style, beautiful beaches like Manaira,
Tambaú, and Cabo Branco, and a visit to "Ponta do
Seixas" which is the most oriental and easterly located
point of the whole Continent of Americas. At the very
end of the afternoon, enjoy the traditional sunset
listen to music of Bolero Ravel at the beach of Praia
do Jacaré. In the evening you will make a stop at
some of the kiosks along the town's beaches.
Day
4 - João Pessoa > Recife (135km)
You
leave João Pessoa after breakfast in the direction
of Recife. On the way you will make a stop in the
town of Igarassu, and visit the churches of Igreja
de São Cosme and Igreja São Damiao, which was inaugurated
in 1535 and is considered to be Brazil's oldest church.
There will also be a visit to the historical museum.
After this continue to the island of Ilha de Itamaracá
where you will visit the Fortress of "Forte Orange"
build by the Dutch in 1654. It is also possible to
make a tour by boat. On this island you will also
visit the center of preservation of Manatees (similar
to seals, living in the north of Brazil and in the
Caribbean Ocean). In the late afternoon you will arrive
Recife City. After check-in at chosen hotel, there
will be time to know Recife by Night. You will visit
the old town, where the city was born, with its old
big houses, which nowadays are transformed to a center
of bars, restaurants and a cultural area.
Day
5 - Recife & Beach of Maria Farinha (39km).
After
breakfast, time for a pleasant tour to the Beach of
Maria Farinha, an area of calm waters and beautiful
coconut trees. Here you also will be able to enjoy
the regions biggest an aquatic amusement park - Veneza
Water Park. It is situated on the beach with several
fun activities, like an artificial river, swimming
pool with waves, aqua-rush and other fun aquatic toys.
There are also multi-sports ground, snack bars, and
restaurants.
Day
6 - Recife City Tour.
After
breakfast and check-out, time to go to the airport
- but, depending on your flight's departure, you will
have time to make a traditional city tour in the morning
visiting Recife and Olinda. The tour starts with showing
a panoramic view of Boa Viagem beach and then a stop
in Old Recife and Praça da República. A 20 minutes
stop at Casa da Cultura (handicraft market). After
you will go to the town of Olinda where you visit
some churches and Alto da Sé, Largo da Misericórdia,
Rua do Amparo, Quatro Cantos, Mosteiro de São Bento.
After lunch transfer to the airport.
