The inn Pousada do Engenho is beautifully located in the mountains of “Serras Gaúchas”, in the municipal of Sao Francisco de Paula, only 35km from the more famous “Swiss villages” Canela & Gramado. To access the place might be by air to Caixias do Sul or Porto Alegre.

The inn is strategic located, between the wine districts in the region of Bento Gonçalves and the “Grand Canyon of Brazil”, Itambezinho (Cambará do Sul) and the national park of Aparados da Serra. As there are no pleasant places to stay in the national park, this inn will be the best and nearest place, about 90km to go one way. During your stay you may enjoy the inn’s green area, 2 hectares of native rain forest, rich of the local fauna & flora, further there are Jacuzzi with view of the garden, sauna, swimming pool, fitness center, games room, coffee shop, meeting room (with CD/DVD player, Internet access, etc) and a charming restaurant.
