The island of “Ilha do Papagaio” is a pure paradise located about 31km south of Florianópolis. The principal access from the mainland, is by boat from the region of “Praia do Sonho”. The island’s owner is family Senh since 1971, but in 1994 the family transformed its property into a charming, small guest house. Its 15 chalets are spread out on the island (see map below) surrounded by untouched forest. About 80% of the island’s area of 142.000m² are environmentally preserved and protected. Besides the beaches, there are several trails to hike and from August to November there are possible to observe whales as well. The place is also good to practice waterskiing, scuba diving and fishing. So this place is a real refuge for romantic moments in the middle of an ecological paradise.

During your stay you may enjoy, besides the beautiful nature, the hotels restaurant service, swimming pool, bar beach service, fitness center, living room with TV & games, boutique, and those that plan some reunion, one meeting room. For some extra cost they provide with massage service, beach towels and laundry service. The island’s 15 chalets are all different designed and decorated, and have also different price setting and equipments. But in general, all chalets are equipped with private bathroom, TV, CD player, mini fridge, safety box, air conditioning, fireplace, verandah with hammock and a beautiful view.
