We
leave São Paulo City about 08:00 o’clock
in the morning and go to the south shore of Sao Paulo
State, where we would arrive the Indian Settlement
about 10:00. Here one Indian will meet us at the edge
of a river, which we will go along and across by boat
until we reach the trail to area that’s open
for visitors. It is a short trek; 10 min walk through
the rainforest up on the hill. Here, in one shelter,
we will watch a video made by the Indians themselves,
showing their living conditions. After this, they
will play some music and children will dance. Before
we return, there will be possibilities to buy some
Indian made handicrafts and if the tour is booked
several days in advanced, they may also have prepared
traditional sweets that we can taste. The visit takes
about 2 – 3 hours. (OBS:

After
visiting the Indians we travel to São Vicente
(the first founded village in Brazil) and Santos (the
biggest port in South America). Here we will have
lunch at one of the regions traditional restaurants
– maybe a fish restaurant. After lunch we may
stroll along the beach in the beautiful beach park,
before we continue to Santos Harbor area and its downtown.
Here we will run a tram that was recently reopened
for tourists. The tour by tram passes through the
old blocks of Santos and the time of the golden epoch
of coffee exports. We finish the tour by visiting
the old official commodity exchange for coffee, here
we may drink a coffee and may buy some freshly grind
coffee, before we return to Sao Paulo City. We are
supposed to be back in São Paulo about 18:00.
