| “Parque
dos Sonhos” means The Park of Dreams, but maybe
it is more correct to translate it as the Natural
Park of Entertainment & Radical Sports. The park
is situated about 6km from the Adventure Sports Center
in Socorro and about 12km from the town of Socorro.
In a small area you can practice a lot of different
types of activities. One of the “hits”
might be the “Tirolezas” (cableways) (there
are three) which one of them has an extension of 250m
(the longest in Brazil). You can also practice; Rappel,
Cascading, Climbing, Aqua Ride, Duck (Boia-Cross),
Trekking, Horse Riding, Mountain Biking, Off-Road
(Jeep), etc. There is also a beautiful waterfall.
They provide with a simple snack-bar, but during 2004
it is planned to inaugurate a new nice snack bar with
better infra-structure. |
