The Itaparica Club Med Village is located on the island of "Ilha de Itaparica", in a green area of 35 hectares, in front of the beach of "Praia de Itaparaica". The resort is situated only 40 minutes by ferry boat from Salvador City.

At the resort you may enjoy the restaurant, providing a big buffet of salads and dishes of national & international influences. And of course local dishes like Vatapa, Acarajé, and Bobo de Camarão. You may also enjoy the two swimming pools, sauna, table tennis, karaoke, 14 tennis courts, 2 squash courts, paddle court, arrow & bow, golf (3 holes), water gym, TV room, discotheque, area for acrobatics & circus school and for children between 4 & 10 has their own mini-club, children swimming pool, play room, and soccer field. Also adults have special programs, like music shows and parties around the swimming pool or in the resorts night club. During the day the GO's (ClubMed staff) take care of the activities, games, walks etc for adults and children. The resort has also infrastructure for conventions with space for 850 guests and a supporting business center and meeting rooms.

There are 330 accommodations divided in guest rooms and bungalows. They are built on pile dwelling with view of coconut trees, the lake or the gardens. All rooms have a simple and clean decoration and equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, safety box and a mini-refrigerator.
