Praia do Forte is the first Eco-Resort in Brazil located in an amazing tropical area on the east coast of Bahia, 55km north of Salvador. The Resort is surrounded of 250.000 square meters of pure nature in harmony with an old charming fishermen's village and there is about 12km of untouched sand beaches with some corals and many beautiful palm trees. The visitors are mainly couples and families where many of them are foreigners.

At the resort you may enjoy the spa, 4 swimming pools, 2 restaurants, one snack bar, 3 bars, 4 illuminated tennis courts, TV & reading room, amphitheater, nautic sport center, soccer field, business center, meeting and convention room for 200 people. The menus are generous varied and excellent in all restaurants. There is a special space for children with monitors and baby-sitters. The supply of activities and eco tourism is great: why not rowing a boat in the Timeantube River, do bird-watching, visit a fishermen’s village, horse riding, tours to ecological reserves accompanying by biologists, tour to the ruin of Garcia D’Ávila Castle, Fishing in the Ocean, diving , snorkeling in natural swimming pools, visit the birth place of turtles where you can visit the research institute and learn more about the marine life (Tamar project), and many other things.

The resort has 250 apartments which 140 of them are classified as standard rooms, with telephone, safety-box, cable TV, air-conditioning and a fridge. The rest of the apartments are classified as Superior/Master and have the same facilities, but are better situated, closer to the social area, more spacious, and have a better view than the standard rooms. All apartments also have verandah with hammock and a beautiful view of the sea and the green nature.
