The Mar Brasil Hotel Residence is located in front of the beach of Itapuã, in Salvador. It is only 10min by car from the international airport, 5min to the lake of “Lagoa do Abaeté”, 15 min to the Convention Center and 35 min (29km) to Salvador downtown. The hotel was inaugurated in 1993 and is considered as a +3-star hotel. During your stay you may enjoy the swimming pool (one for adults & one for children), bar and a restaurant (06:30 - 22:00 & 24h. room service). There is also small business center, laundry service, parking and some facilities for disabled guests. The hotel doesn’t provide with beach services but there are independent beach vendors. During low-tidewater, the beach is friendly for children.

There are 27 guest rooms divided in 04 categories; (04) Standard rooms, (19) Executive Suites (with kitchenette and view of the sea), (03) Luxo Suites (larger, but with no kitchenette & view of the sea), and (01) Master Suite (with two rooms, kitchenette and view of the sea). All accommodations are equipped with: air conditioning, telephone, cable TV (45 channels), safety box, mini fridge, and plug for computers. It is a nice option for families with children as it is situated in a tranquil area and near the beach. One suite is adapted for disable guests.
